Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers Supports Norfolk Golf Tournament and Portsmouth Fun Run
Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers recently sponsored two sporting events which were raising money for good causes in Norfolk and Portsmouth.
The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church’s seventh annual golf tournament was held at Sewell’s Point Golf Course in Norfolk on October 17. Cooper Hurley was a platinum sponsor of the event. The tournament raised money for teenagers to take part in Catholic Heart Work Camp’s trip to Delaware in June, 2015.
Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers is a consistent supporter of Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia. The law firm supports many other good causes in and around Hampton Roads.
Cooper Hurley was also a sponsor of the 3rd annual BOO-Yah 5K and Little Monsters Fun Run in Port Norfolk in Portsmouth on October 11. The law firm also supported the run in 2012 and 2013. The event raises money for the Foodbank of South Eastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore and the Port Norfolk Civic League.
At Cooper Hurley we believe it’s important to give back to the community and to support good causes. In 2013, we donated $2,500 to the foodbank and have recently sponsored Norfolk State University’s Women’s Empowerment Conference in Virginia Beach.
Earlier this year we supported a project to clean up the water in Knitting Mill Creek in Norfolk. It’s all part of our mission to be a good citizen.
