My thoughts as a Virginia Beach injury lawyer are with the family of Mr. Cruiz, whose life was cut tragically short.
A front-seat passenger, a 19-year-old, of New York City, died at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Fountain Hill on the day of the accident after being critically injured in the crash. This serious wreck left the driver and another passenger in the car critically injured; they were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township.
According to reports, the automobile hit a tractor-trailer stopped on the right shoulder near mile marker 10.8 around 3:20 a.m. It was pulled over because its driver was helping another driver whose truck had jackknifed after hitting the center median, New Jersey State Police told the Express-Times.
When passengers are killed in a car crash due to the fault of the driver of the car they are travelling in, their next of kin may have grounds to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver’s insurance policy.
