I have reported on a number of accidents involving school buses in Virginia Beach in recent years. The most serious one occurred in October, 2013. Christian Montes, a sailor was standing outside his broken down car one morning when he was hit and killed by a school bus.
We entrust the safety of our children to school bus drivers. However, on occasions bus drivers fall below the standards we expect. Police did not say which party was to blame in the accident involving the school bus and the motorcycle.
