We want you to help us support organizations that have made an impact on Hampton Roads.
Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers has proudly supported the causes that help our community thrive for over a decade. Six years ago, Vote For A Cause was born out of an effort to help local organizations receive donations to help them continue their hard work. Across Hampton Roads, nonprofits, places of worship, and sports team make a difference every day. Vote For A Cause is our way of helping them do even more.
How can you participate? Nominate a deserving organization to receive a top donation of $10,000 from The Car Crash Experts this spring.
The organization with the highest number of votes from our community will receive a $10,000 donation from The Car Crash Experts. Awards of $5,000 and $2,500 will be donated to the second and third place winners, respectively.
Our previous Vote for a Cause winners were so grateful to recieve local support. Let's add your favorite organization to this list!
How to Participate
- Use the form to choose your favorite cause. Don’t see it listed? Just choose “other” and type in the organization’s information.
- Stay updated on Vote for a Cause by following us on Facebook. The voting deadline is May 12th, 2026!
- Tune in to see us announce the names of the winning organizations via Facebook on May 15th.

To help us spread love and support across our community, past 1st place winners are no longer eligible to win Vote For A Cause. This Share The Love Clause ensures more schools have a chance to benefit from Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers’ Vote For A Cause initiative!

All Hampton Roads residents ages 18 and older are eligible to participate in Vote for a Cause.
One vote per person, please.
Yes! Once our voting window closes, we will consolidate all votes to ensure that your favorite organization receives its fair share of votes. This includes if the organization is spelled multiple was in the dropdown list.
Simply type the name of the organization in the “other” box, and it will be added to the list within a week.
We will announce our winners LIVE at a press conference on May 16th at noon. The press conference will be broadcasted live via our Facebook page.
Vote for a Cause is sponsored by Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers Cares. Our Cares Initiatives help support those in need, and organizations that are doing good work in our community.
