Kate Deguzman is a legal assistant at Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers. Kate grew up in Chesapeake, VA and graduated from Indian River Highschool. Prior to working for Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers, Kate worked in the customer service industry placing customer needs at the forefront. Dealing with clients and warmly working with our staff is what makes her day at the firm. She also loves the community outreach by the firm.
When Kate is not in the office, she likes to spend her free time with her dog Khalia who is a beautiful Rottweiler mix. Kate loves to spend time with her family and considers family to be her solid foundation in life. She also loves the great outdoors; she loves a beach day with her family and significant other, James. When not at the beach, Kate enjoys traveling, family time, and great food.
An interesting fact about Kate is that she is a sucker for some good sour candy and would buy stock in a sour candy company if she could.
