Intake Supervisor

Tara has been with Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers since 2011. She started as a legal receptionist in 2008, when the firm was called Hurley Law Firm. She moved on to become a paralegal for Jim Hurley for over ten years before she was promoted to Intake Supervisor. Tara currently manages the intake department, where she handles inquiries from potential clients and guides them through the case sign-up process before they meet their legal teams.

Tara attended Tidewater Community College and earned an associate’s degree in legal assisting. She was born in New Jersey and has lived in Virginia Beach for over 20 years. She likes the family-feel of Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers. Tara states, “I love the closeness and friendliness. It’s not stressful. I’m a people person, and I love interviewing and dealing with my clients.”

First and foremost thank you to all that were involved in this service. I appreciate all the time and effort from everyone. Especially Tara who ensured that everything that was due to me was secured and everyone who needed to be talked to was taken care of. There’s not enough words to say how much I appreciate the firm and Tara’s effort.
