Pedestrian is Killed After Being Hit by a Car in Ghent, Norfolk

Another pedestrian has been killed in Norfolk, the third in the city in as many months.
Police said over the weekend a man had died after being hit by a car in the Ghent neighborhood.
The accident occurred on March 16 at about 8:30 p.m. Police say a driver hit a pedestrian near Colonial and Boissevain Avenues in Ghent, Norfolk. Investigators said the driver stopped, and stayed on scene while the victim was helped.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital but later died from his injuries. My thought as an experienced Norfolk pedestrian accident attorney are with the family of the man, whose name has not yet been released.
Earlier this month my colleague Jim Hurley reported how a pedestrian was killed by two cars on Lafayette Boulevard in Norfolk.
In January, 2013 James Gregory Camp, a man in a wheelchair, was mown down and killed by a car in Norfolk.
If a loved one has lost their life crossing the road due to the fault of a driver, you may have grounds to file a wrongful death suit and should contact an experienced Norfolk wrongful death lawyer for a free consultation.
