Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers is delighted to welcome Griffin O’Hanlon, its newest attorney, to the team. Although Griff is new to Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers, he is not new to litigation, especially in the Norfolk Circuit Court where he practiced regularly for over three years.
Griff attended Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake for his freshman and sophomore years, before his parents relocated to Illinois. He returned to Virginia to attend Virginia Tech, where he majored in history. Griff obtained his law degree from the Saint Louis University School of Law with a concentration in civil litigation. In this video he talks about why he joined Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers.
After law school, Griff returned to Hampton Roads and now lives in Virginia Beach. He practiced criminal law at the Norfolk Public Defender’s Office and a local private firm before joining Cooper Hurley and has extensive in-court litigation experience. Griff recently married Kelsey O’Hanlon (formerly Turner), a graduate of Tallwood High School in Virginia Beach who works as a speech therapist for Virginia Beach Public Schools. When he’s not working on his files, Griff can be found on the beach or the golf course or cheering on Virginia Tech’s football team.
Jim Hurley and John Cooper seek to grow Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers into Hampton Road’s premier law firm focused exclusively on injury and accident cases, while maintaining the caring, family atmosphere that keeps our clients happy and returns folks to the firm. Jim says: “We hope Griff will be as great as Bill O’Mara has been, as our clients love Bill and how hard he works for them.”
Bill joined the firm in 2014 and has since taken on scores of cases. Cooper Hurley represents people who have been hurt in car, truck and motorcycle crashes due to the fault of another driver.
