Bugaboo Carseat Adapter Recalled
The Consumer Product Safety Commission and C.F.L. Commercial issued a voluntary recall of approximately 64,000 Bugaboo car seat adapters.
When used on a stroller with a wheeled board accessory attached for a standing toddler, the car seat faces forward, the car seat can detach from the adapter and fall. The recall includes Bugaboo car seat adapter models 80400GC01 and 80401GC02. These models were sold at Babies “R” Us, Buy Buy Baby, Neiman Marcus, other department stores and independent juvenile stores, Bugaboo.com and miscellaneous online retailers nationwide from December 2005 to July 2011 for approximately $45.
