Counsel Her Circle is a networking, referral, and mentorship program for female attorneys in the Hampton Roads area to really help establish the community for female attorneys here. We’re fairly new. This is our first year.
Our very first program for CounselHer Circle was a Galentine’s event and it was very well received. And to me, the feedback that I received from people is they didn’t even realize something like this was missing, but when they got there, immediately felt a sense of community with the group. There’s just things that women attorneys face that men don’t necessarily. And having a community of people that have gone through it and can empathize with you and give you real world advice is just so valuable.
