Who is Eligible to Win Vote for a Cause?

Hampton Roads Charities, places of worship or sports teams are eligible to win Vote for a Cause. Looking to vote for a school? Come back in September when we launch Vote for a School!

Who is not eligible to win?

To help us spread love and support across our community, past 1^st place winners are not currently eligible to win future Vote For A Cause contests. This Share The Love Clause ensures more schools have a chance to benefit from Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers Vote For A Cause initiative.

Who is eligible to cast a vote?

All Hampton Roads residents ages 18 and older are eligible to participate in Vote for a Cause.

How many times can I vote?

One vote per person, please.

My favorite organization is listed more than once. Will votes be consolidated?

Yes! Once our voting window closes, we will consolidate all votes to ensure that your favorite organization receives its fair share of votes. This includes if the organization is spelled multiple was in the dropdown list.

My favorite organization isn’t listed at all. How do I vote?

Simply type the name of the organization in the “other” box, and it will be added to the list within a week.

How will winners be notified?

We will announce our winners LIVE at a press conference on May 15th at noon. The press conference will be broadcasted live via our Facebook page.
