What Should Someone Do After an Injury as a Passenger on a Train?
Video Transcript
If you’re a passenger that’s injured on a train, here are the steps you need to take. The first thing you need to do is make sure that you report it to the railroad so that they can note it down, what happened, and then help get you the treatment that you need. So, first thing, report it to the railroad.
Second, make sure that you get the treatment that you need. And third, give us a call. The passenger just needs to flag down a worker and then most of the railroads have like a standard form that they would have you fill out or need you to do. Now, obviously that depends on the severity of your injury. If you’re like really really hurt, you’re not going to be able to necessarily fill out a form in the moment, nor would we want you to before seeking treatment. But it’s just important that the railroad itself knows that you were hurt so that they have record of the injury.
