What Generally Happens in a Railroad Accident Case?
Video Transcript
Here’s some things I’ve seen while working on railroad cases. In railroad passenger cases, the most common mechanism of injury that we see are the trips or slips and falls either on the train because it’s wet or improperly maintained somehow and there’s something that causes you to fall or even, you know, as you’re getting from the platform down onto the train. So, we want to make sure in the railroad passenger cases that you are reporting your injury and then getting the treatment that you need.
When a railroad worker is injured, I know that you can often feel pressure from the claims agent to give a statement, to sign off on the injury report form, but it’s really important to take a pause, consider all of your options, make sure you get the medical treatment that you need, and then you can always call us for a free consultation and let us give you some advice and help you through that process, even at the beginning, because we know how overwhelming it can be in the days immediately following an injury.
