Bicyclists have to follow the same right of way laws as drivers of cars. So that means stopping at stop signs, stopping at red lights, staying in your lane, not making any maneuvers that would be dangerous if a car made them– so not cutting people off. If you would have to do something as an operator of a motor vehicle, you need to do that as a bicyclist, and if you do that as a bicyclist, that ensures you’ll be safe when you’re out on the roads.
