Voting Now Open for Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers’ “Vote for a Cause” Past winner Reck League highlights real community impact

NORFOLK, Va. — April 14, 2026: Voting is now officially underway for Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers’ Vote for a Cause contest, inviting Hampton Roads residents to support local organizations making a meaningful difference across the region.

Now in its sixth year, the contest will award a total of $17,500 to three deserving organizations, including a $10,000 first place prize. Community members can cast their vote at voteforacause.com by selecting their favorite organization from the dropdown menu. Voting is open through May 12, with winners announced May 15.

One standout example is Reck League, a Norfolk-based nonprofit focused on empowering youth and young adults in under-resourced communities. Following their success in Vote for a Cause, Reck League used their $10,000 first place prize to launch a free summer AI training program, introducing participants to emerging technology and how it can shape their futures.
