Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers Welcomes Hundreds to First-Ever CHIL Fest in Norfolk

Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers welcomed hundreds of guests to its first-ever CHIL Fest on September 19 at Maker’s Craft Brewery in Norfolk. The event celebrated the firm’s CHIL Ambassadors, who included clients, former clients, referral partners, and friends who have trusted the firm and recommended its attorneys to others.

The celebration brought together familiar faces from across the years for an afternoon of food, music, games, and giveaways. Among those attending was a former client who first worked with Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers 13 years ago. Others had become part of the firm’s community more recently.

CHIL Fest was created as a personal thank you to those Ambassadors. Referring a friend, neighbor, or family member means placing trust in the firm again, often long after a client’s own case has ended. The event gave the attorneys and staff an opportunity to recognize that support and spend time with the people behind those recommendations.

“It was special to look around Maker’s Craft Brewery and see so many familiar faces from over the years. Some of you have been part of the Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers family for more than a decade. Others we have gotten to know more recently. Either way, everyone felt like family,” said Jim Hurley, managing partner at Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers.

Guests had plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon. Face painters, photo booths, bubbles, and games like cornhole offered activities for all ages.. A live DJ provided the music, and three food trucks were on-site.

Giveaways took place every 30 minutes, with prizes including Meta glasses, a Ninja Creami, a Blackstone grill, and a 60-inch television. Between the activities and prize giveaways, guests also had time to reconnect with the Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers team.

Following the event, Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers shared a digital album of photos and videos for former clients to save and share. The collection gives attendees a chance to revisit the afternoon, find themselves and their families, and spot familiar members of their legal team. It also offers those who could not attend a look at the first CHIL Fest.
