CounselHer Circle Hosts Networking Breakfast Featuring Delegate Katrina Callsen

Norfolk, Va. (June 17, 2026) – CounselHer Circle, the Hampton Roads professional network created by women attorneys for women attorneys, welcomed legal professionals from across the region on June 5 for A Morning with Delegate Katrina Callsen at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The event featured networking, breakfast and remarks from Delegate Callsen, who spoke candidly about how each person in the room could play a role in creating meaningful change at the local and state levels. She encouraged attendees to get involved, stay engaged, and use their voices to make an impact. The delegate also spoke to the group about how needed groups like CounselHer Circle are, and that it’s great to see that space being filled.

Founded by Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers attorneys Bailey Gifford, Esq., Cara Purvis, Esq., and Breena Streeter, Esq., CounselHer Circle was established to foster professional development, meaningful connections and referral-driven collaboration among women practicing law in Hampton Roads. The June gathering built on the momentum of the organization’s successful launch earlier this year, bringing together attorneys from a variety of practice areas and experience levels.
