Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Brenna earned dual bachelor’s degrees in History and International Relations from Indiana Wesleyan University . She came to the Hampton Roads area to study law and quickly fell in love with both the people and the ocean.
After her undergraduate degree, she graduated from Regent University School of Law and passed the Virginia Bar Examination. In her first job out of law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Tanya Felton and the Honorable Judge Scott J. Flax at the Circuit Court for the City of Virginia Beach.
Outside of her legal career, she enjoys watercolor painting, cooking, and spending time with both of her families—she is one of four siblings by birth but was also “adopted” into a family of seven, making life twice as full.
