Super Lawyers Honors Five Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers Attorneys

Super Lawyers’ annual awards are well-known and respected benchmarks of success across the legal profession. This year, the rating service has again recognized five of Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers’ attorneys.

Founding partners John Cooper and Jim Hurley were named Virginia Super Lawyers in 2021. Partners Bill O’Mara and Griff O’Hanlon as well as John Baker have again been recognized as Rising Stars

Bill O’Mara joined the Norfolk-based firm in 2014. He became a partner in 2017. Attorney Griff O’Hanlon is the firm’s newest partner. He was named as a partner at the beginning of 2020.

While all of the attorneys appear regularly on Virginia Super Lawyers’ list, the accolade is not guaranteed. Fewer than 5 percent of lawyers make the cut in Virginia and under 2.5 percent of young lawyers are named as “Rising Stars.” The five attorneys from Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers also appeared on the 2020 list, replicating the firm’s success in 2019.
