NEWPORT NEWS, VA — October 3, 2025: Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers brought a fun token of appreciation to Newport News Station 2, delivering ice cream to the city’s firefighters and first responders. Members of the firm’s team visited the station to recognize the dedication and service of the men and women who protect the community.
“Firefighters are on the front lines every day, and we wanted to take a moment to be there for them,” said Cassidy Lewis, Chief Marketing Officer, at Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers. “This visit is one way for us to acknowledge their commitment and hard work.”
The ice cream truck visit is part of Salute to Our 757 Heroes, Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers’ ongoing initiative to honor first responders and other community leaders throughout Hampton Roads. Over 40 ice cream treats were provided to Newport News firefighters and first responders.
The stop at Newport News Fire Station 2, near the firm’s office at 750 McGuire Place, is one of several planned community engagement events for 2025, aimed at supporting and recognizing the region’s everyday heroes.
