Meet Bailey Gifford | Senior Associate Attorney at Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers

My name is Bailey Gifford. I’m a senior associate attorney at Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers. Born in Nebraska, but ended up doing most of my schooling in Kentucky. I went to Morehead State University for my bachelor’s degree and then the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia for law school before finally migrating out here to the coast. And I’ve been at Cooper Hurley ever since I passed the bar.
I volunteer with Envision Lead Grow. They are a nonprofit out of Portsmouth, and they really support young women in the area that are trying to be entrepreneurs and start their own businesses. So I mentor a small group of young ladies in that program. And then I’m also active in the Norfolk Portsmouth Bar Association.
I was drawn to personal injury law because it’s a way that I could help people but still kind of live out my dreams of being an attorney and really marry the two together in a way that felt natural to me.
