Meet Our Leadership Team
Meet the attorneys of Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers who help guide the vision of CounselHer Circle—bringing women attorneys across Hampton Roads together through meaningful connections, shared insights, and opportunities.
Bailey Gifford
Bailey Gifford is a Senior Associate at Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers, where she focuses on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, trucking, railroad, and complex premises liability cases. She joined the firm in 2020 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2024.
Cara Purvis
Cara Purvis previously spent 18 years as a trial attorney and Deputy Public Defender in Norfolk, handling thousands of cases and building a reputation as a compassionate advocate and strong presence in the courtroom.
Brenna Streeter
Brenna Streeter came to Hampton Roads to attend Regent University School of Law and quickly fell in love with the community. After earning her J.D. and passing the Virginia Bar, she clerked in the Virginia Beach Circuit Court.
“When I graduated law school in 2020 it was at the height of COVID. I moved to Hampton Roads without really knowing anyone… It took several years to build relationships with women in the area and have a support system that understood the challenges I was facing.
CounselHer Circle is a group that I wish would have existed when I became an attorney – somewhere I could have gone to find the mentorship and community I was lacking back then.”
