Kristy McMullen

Kristy McMullen joined Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers as an Associate Attorney in September 2026, where she represents individuals suffering from the negligent acts of others. Her practice focuses on catastrophic car accidents, wrongful death claims, premises liability, and railroad accident cases. Kristy brings substantial mediation experience to the firm and is deeply committed to client-centered representation, emphasizing open communication and earning her clients’ trust every step of the way.

Kristy holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Florida (2020) and a J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (2025), where she was a Notes & Comments Editor for the Journal of Business and Technology Law. Admitted to the Maryland State Bar and admitted to the Virginia State Bar, Kristy is an active member of both the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association and the Maryland Association for Justice.

Off the clock, Kristy loves spending time with her husband and their cat, Minerva, and passionately cheering on the Florida State Seminoles and Baltimore Ravens.
