Suffolk woman charged after hitting her boyfriend with her vehicle
21-year-old Shannon Goldston was charged with malicious wounding, hit-and-run property damage, driving a motor vehicle while license is suspended or revoked, and reckless driving, according to Suffolk police reports.
Around 8:30am police were called after 27-year-old George Gates, Jr. was struck by a car. Goldston had then fled the scene, while Gates was flown to the hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told police that Gates had been struck by the car intentionally during a domestic argument.
