Four people have been injured, two of them seriously, in Virginia Beach after a vehicle struck a pole on Northampton Boulevard.
The crash happened shortly after 4 a.m., on June 22, in the 5800 block of Northampton Blvd., close to Burton Station Road. The car struck a pole, Virginia Beach police spokeswoman Tonya Borman said.
Investigators closed both northbound lanes of Northampton Blvd in the wake of this serious crash. One northbound lane was reopened around 7 a.m.
Four people were taken to a local hospital in the wake of this wreck. Two of them were reported to have sustained serious injuries.
