Sailor From Virginia Beach Sam Schindler Dies in Crash That Kills Three in Maryland
A sailor from Virginia Beach was one of three people who died in a single car crash in Maryland.
Samuel Schindler was a passenger in a car that crashed on Fort Meade property around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Speed was said to be a factor. “Investigators say the driver lost control, hit a light pole, then the SUV rolled over and hit a tree,” WAVY.com reported.
Sam Schindler was one of three people killed. Another person is in a local hospital where he is fighting for his life.

It has been a tragic week for sailors in Hampton Roads. Just days ago I reported on the death of Navy motorcyclist Ralph J. Toland through no fault of his own, in Virginia Beach.
All three of those who died in this crash were 22-years-old. My thoughts as an experienced Virginia Beach wrongful death attorney are with the families of those who lost their life.
If a close family member is killed as a passenger due to the fault of a driver, the family may have grounds to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the insurance policy of the driver.
