Police Charge Hampton Couple over Death of Motorcyclist Taeisha Wilson in Newport News

Police have charged a woman and her husband over an alleged hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of another motorcyclist in Hampton Roads.
It has been a grim June for motorcyclists in Tidewater with a number of deaths over the last week. Drivers of cars have been responsible for most of these deaths.
Virginia State Police say they have charged a couple over a deadly accident last weekend in which 24-year-old Taeisha Wilson was thrown off of her motorcycle on the northbound lanes of I-664 south of Terminal Boulevard in Newport News near the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, reported the Daily Press.

State Police say the driver of an SUV left the scene of the crash. Investigators were able to find her and brought her back to the scene Sunday.
