As an experienced Norfolk, VA car crash injury lawyer I see many crashes that are caused by alcohol or drugs.
But a recent crash in Chesapeake is unusual in that the driver accused of a DUI is a Norfolk police officer.
The Daily Press reported the DUI arrest of a Norfolk police officer in Chesapeake early on January 9, 2012. The officer has been charged with DUI and assaulting a law enforcement officer, police said.
