A motorist died in Bassett, VA, after he was involved in a head-on collision. The fatal crash occurred on at 5:40pm on Sunday, November 27, 2011, on Route 57. According to WSET ABC-13, State Police officials said the male driver of a Ford Ranger was traveling westbound on Route 57 when he crossed over the median, hitting an oncoming vehicle and killing the male driver of the truck.
No additional information has been released from the police.
