Norfolk Injury Lawyer Report : Motorcyclist Dies on Tidewater Drive in Norfolk
Another motorcyclist has died in a crash in Norfolk, this time on Tidewater Drive.
The man died at the scene of a single vehicle motorcycle crash at 2:30 a.m. on September 20, 2012 on Tidewater Drive near the I-264 exit ramp eastbound. As an experienced Norfolk motorcycle accident injury lawyer, my thoughts are with his family.
It’s not known yet what caused the motorcyclist to crash in Norfolk, WAVY.com reported.
Norfolk and surrounding cities such as Suffolk and Chesapeake, have seen a spate of fatal motorcycle accidents in recent months as 2012 has proved to be a deadly year for riders in Virginia.
Recently I reported on how a motorcyclist was knocked down and killed by a driver on Interstate 564 at Terminal Blvd. in Norfolk.
And at the end of July, 2012, a scooter rider was killed after a collision with a truck on Norfolk’s N. Military Highway.
Motorcyclists are particularly vulnerable on the roads of cities such as Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Hampton, cities where our injury attorneys work with the victims of accidents to help them get what they deserve.
Motorcyclists should be aware of the dangers of excess speed because a rider can suffer more serious injuries than any other kind of motorist in a high speed wreck.
