Justin Bieber is Not Cool and Above the Law in DUI Arrest
When teen idol Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami and charged with drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license, it sent an appalling message to his young fans across the world.
Bieber may be worth millions, but as his recent arrest demonstrates, he is not above the law.
CNN reported on how police reported they saw Bieber street racing early Thursday. It reported he swore at a police officer when he was stopped and questioned the reason for his arrest.
A Miami Beach officer said he saw Bieber driving a yellow Lamborghini in a race against a red Ferrari in a residential area of Miami Beach, Martinez said. The cars were reported to be speeding at about 55 to 60 mph in a 30 mph zone, he said.
The 19-year-old singing star was released from a jail in Miami in Florida after an hour after making $2,500 bond.
“He strutted out of the jail dressed in black, with a baggy hoodie covering his head. His pants appeared to be baggy leather. Bieber briefly sat on top of a black Cadillac Escalade, where he waved to screaming fans, before he was chauffeured away,” reported CNN. The report said Bieber has “made some statements that he had consumed some alcohol, and that he had been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication.
Bieber has cultivated a bad boy image in recent years. In this video I talk about how it’s not cool and Bieber is not above the law. Drunk drivers cause immense misery to innocent people who they main on the roads and the families of those who are killed.
