Highway Signs in Memorial of Dead Motorists : Williamsburg, Virginia Wrongful Death Lawyer Advice
As a lifelong Hampton Roads resident I often am driving on roads where I know that the loved ones of friends have died.
One example I often think about is on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach where I know of teenagers who never made it home safely to their parents. As I was driving down Interstate 64 (I-64) near Williamsburg the other day I saw three or four of these new highway memorial signs together in one place on the road.
I think it’s a nice tribute to loved ones that the state allows these signs to be placed up. They serve as a permanent reminder of the dangers that each of us faces when we get on the highway. No one needs to hear that message more than young drivers and teenagers.
Wrongful death is obviously the ultimate injury that a person can suffer in a car or truck accident. It is all too common. The average American will be in 4.5 car crashes in their lifetimes. Some of these will involve fatalities. Try to prevent yourself from becoming a statistic and be safe on the roads.
