Hampton Man is Sought over James City County Crash that Left 14-year-old Dead
Police are seeking a man from Hampton over a fatal accident in James City County, VA earlier this year that left a teen dead.
According to WVEC.com, Gary Jerome Turner, 37 of Hampton is wanted for his involvement in a May 9 crash.
The station reported he was indicted on May 9 and is charged with “maiming while DWI, involuntary manslaughter, reckless involuntary DUI manslaughter, 2 counts child neglect, DWI, and improper brakes.”
The charges stem from a fatal crash that occurred on August 8, 2011 in the 1300 block of John Tyler Highway.

Sadly there were 7 extended family members travelling as passengers in the van, ranging from two months old to 17 years, WVEC.com reported.
A 14-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. My thoughts of with the relatives of the teenager.
The injuries sustained by the other passengers ranged from non-life threatening to critical.
