The Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers were a sponsor of this year’s Sacred Heart Church’s golf tournament held at Sewells Point Golf Course in Norfolk.
The “Play Fore the Parishes: a Swing and a Prayer” golf tournament was held on August 16, 2013.
Attorney Jim Hurley played in the competition at Sewells Point.
“It was an absolutely beautiful day that was perfect for a fun game of golf shared with friends coming together to support the ministries of Sacred Heart Church and Saint Gabriel’s Parish in Lascahobas, Haiti,” wrote Neil Walsh, Director of Social Ministry, in a letter to Cooper Hurley.
A fundraiser accompanying the golf tournament, raised money for Sacred Heart’s local outreach programs as well as the Haitian children’s program of St. Gabriel.
The Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers are regular supporters of good causes in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
The attorneys are also regular sponsors of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church’s fifth annual golf tournament at Sewells Point.
Cooper Hurley also supported the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, Larchmont Spring Carnival in Norfolk and the Elizabeth River Project. We will be supporting the Boo-Yah! Halloween fun run in Port Norfolk, Portsmouth and the Jingle Bells run/walk for the Arthritis Foundation.
