Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers were among the sponsors of the Boo-Yah! 5K Halloween themed fun run in Portsmouth on October 19.
The even brought more than 150 runners to historic Port Norfolk in Portsmouth. It also included a “Little Monsters” fun run for kids dressed in Halloween costumes.
All of the money raised for the event went to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore and the Port Norfolk Civic League.
t was the second year in a row that Cooper Hurley has supported the fun run. Cooper Hurley also supported the foodbank earlier this year with a donation and a Facebook like campaign.
“A special thanks to Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers. We really appreciate it – we couldn’t have done it without you,” said co race director Matt Hartman.
The race was won by Chadwick Shroy, who is stationed at NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach.
The Cooper Hurley Injury Lawyers support many good causes in the Hampton Roads community. On October 18 we supported the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Sixth Annual Golf Tournament. We will also be supporting the Jingle Bells walk/run for the Arthritis Foundation.
